DIRECT TRANSLATION

The following persons on the 23 March 1937 were married before the Magistrate:

Jasper Johannes Gideon Ravenscroft & Johanna Catherine Ravenscroft – born van Rensburg.

The marriage was accepted as on 31 March 1937 seen here ecclesiastically

by the undersigned.

(Translates to proper English as to mean  - “he marriage was recognised by the church”

Jasper married another Ravenscroft born van Rensburg. Probably a ‘sister in law’ but I have been unable to connect where she fitted into the Ravenscroft Family before this marriage.
